Abies Canadensis, also known as Pinus Canadensis or Hemlock Spruce, Abies Canadensis is a homeopathic remedy that has a strong action on the stomach lining helping treat poor digestion and liver disorders.
Mucous membranes are affected by ABIES CANADENSIS and gastric symptoms are most marked, and a catarrhal condition of the stomach is produced. Mind.-Quiet, careless, but easily fretted.
Head.–Tipsy feeling, swimming of the head; light-headed.
Eyes.-Sensation as of a stye in the outer canthus of l. eye.
Mouth.-Dryness of the mouth.
Head.–Feels light-headed, tipsy. Irritable.
Stomach.–Canine hunger with torpid liver.┬аGnawing, hungry, faint feeling at the epigastrium. Great appetite, craving for meat, pickles, radishes, turnips, artichokes, and coarse food.┬аTendency to eat far beyond capacity for digestion. Burning and┬аdistention of stomach and abdomen with palpitation. Flatulence disturbs the heart’s action. Pain in right shoulder-blade, and constipation, with burning in rectum.
Sleep.-Gaping, drowsy.-Great restlessness at night, with tossing from side to side
Female.–Uterine displacements. Sore feeling at the fundus of the uterus, relieved by pressure. Prostration; wants to lie down all the time. Thinks the womb is soft and feeble.
Fever.–Cold shivering, as if blood were ice-water (Acon). Chills run down back. Cold water feeling between shoulders (Ammon mur). Skin clammy and sticky. Night-sweat (China).
Generalities.-Hands cold, shrunken.-Skin cold and clammy.-Lies with the legs drawn up.-Great prostration, want to lie down all the time.-Very faint as if the top of the head were congested.-Twitching of the muscles.
